How Bor, Heimdall, and Polygon PoS RPC relate

Polygon PoS separates execution from consensus. Bor is the EVM execution and block-production layer that processes transactions and serves the Ethereum-compatible RPC methods used by applications. Heimdall is the validator and consensus layer that validates Bor blocks, coordinates block producers, and checkpoints Bor state to Ethereum. The Polygon PoS RPC endpoint is the developer-facing gateway to Bor: when an app calls eth_call,eth_getLogs, or submits a transaction, Bor handles the request while Heimdall provides validator coordination, finality, and Ethereum anchoring behind the scenes.
