The development of bridges to connect other networks, such as Ethereum, have always been part of the plan for Polkadot. The implementation of a bridge between Polkadot and Kusama will enable collectives such as the Alliance and Fellowship to serve both networks with ease. Additionally, it will also allow Kusama to actively participate and act as a unified entity within these groups or within the Polkadot network as a whole.
